Karianne Kraaijestein


Karianne Kraaijestein (1971) born in South-Korea and raised in the Netherlands is known for her passion, curiosity, creativity and her ability to enable people in reaching their full potentialities. She will take you into the world of yoga, meditation and philosophy in a way that makes it meaningful in our day-to-day hectic modern life.


Her practice is inspired by the yoga and philosophy teachings of Richard Freeman and Sarah Powers, the mindfulness meditations trainings of Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach and the Asthanga Vinyasa and Yin Yoga system. Her enquiry into the true self is reflected in her studies of and love for the Bhagavad Gita, Buddhism, Patanjali, Sufism and western classics and poetry.


Karianne is a certified yoga alliance teacher and is the founder of YogaFest. Previously she worked 22 years in marketing communication of which 13 years running her own agency. Her life is dedicated to help people to de-stress, find balance and transform to live to their fullest. She gives practical tools easily applicable in daily life. Something that is much needed in today’s fast 24/7 society.
