Holmenkollen

The ski jump was officially opened in 2010 and is considered the world’s most modern ski jump. The start house soars around 64 meters above the ground and the construction comprises 100 tons of steel. You can take the elevator up and enjoy the beautiful view, experience a ski jump yourself in the simulator and even abseil from the top down during the summer if you aren’t afraid of heights that is. Visit the museum while you are there and get a better idea of the Norwegians love for skiing.
